Vegan Fudge Recipe

Assalamu Alaikum!
Maryam here again! Today's post is a quick and easy recipe that I love making, and it's a no-bake too. So let's jump right in!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
1/6 cup coconut oil, melted and cooled
1/8 cup cocoa powder
1/8 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Method:
Mix the nut butter well until smooth and creamy.
Add the coconut oil...
... and the cocoa powder.
Combine the maple syrup, salt and vanilla extract.
The mixture should be thick and smooth by now.
Spread evenly into a freeze-friendly, six inch round container. Freeze for at least two hours.
Cut and serve. Yum, masha'Allah!
I like to store the extra in the freezer but you can leave it in the fridge for a softer fudge.
Well I hope you like it and you give it a go. I've also tried it with peanut butter which is also nice, however almond butter is my favourite. Enjoy, insha'Allah!

Love and wasalaam,

Maryam

All Our Date Recipes

Assalamu Alaikum.
We know we said we would do a date recipe but, unfortunately, we haven't been able to get round to it. We've just been extra busy this Ramadan.
So in today's post we'll be linking to all the date recipes we have shared on our blog. Here they are:

This recipe is an old favourite in our house and is definitely a crowd pleaser.

We make different variations of these all the time! They are so easy and quick to whip up, alhamdulillah.

These are simple to make and quite filling too, so make sure to let the younger kids get involved!

Growing up, we all loved Date Ma'moul. This is Hanifah's version which we all love, masha'Allah.

Dates are not the highlight of this recipe, but they are an important part and do make these brownies extra yummy!

This recipe is arguably our favourite on this list. We have already made it this Ramadan and the taste never gets old. It is basically mini doughnuts swimming in date syrupy goodness. We highly recommend you give it a go.

Well that is all we have for you this Friday. We are now in the last 10 days of Ramadan and that is another reason we have been busy and tired lately! We're sorry again for not having a new recipe. Insha'Allah we plan to get more organised and have some 'new' posts for you all.
Until then, insha'Allah.

Love and wasalaam,

Mango Smoothie Recipe

Assalamu Alaikum!
Maryam here this week with a yummy smoothie recipe. Mango is one of my favourite fruits to eat so it is defiantly the star of the show.
Lets begin!

Ingredients:
1 cup frozen Mango chunks
1 large ripe Banana
1/4 cup frozen Apple chunks
1/2 Apple juice
3/4 - 1 cup Milk/Plant based milk (I used oats milk)

Method:
Place all the fruit in the blender and then add the liquids.
Blend it all up adding more milk if the smoothie is too thick/slushy for your liking.
And that is all! Making a smoothie isn't hard at all, it's the ratio of fruits that make the difference. So play around with it! If you want a stronger mango flavour, add more mango, or replace the apple juice with mango juice!
Well, that is all for this quick post. See you next week, insha'Allah.

Love,

Maryam
