Assalamu Alaikum!
Maryam here again! Today's post is a quick and easy recipe that I love making, and it's a no-bake too. So let's jump right in!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
1/6 cup coconut oil, melted and cooled
1/8 cup cocoa powder
1/8 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Method:
Mix the nut butter well until smooth and creamy.
Add the coconut oil...
... and the cocoa powder.
Combine the maple syrup, salt and vanilla extract.
The mixture should be thick and smooth by now.
Spread evenly into a freeze-friendly, six inch round container. Freeze for at least two hours.
Cut and serve. Yum, masha'Allah!
I like to store the extra in the freezer but you can leave it in the fridge for a softer fudge.
Well I hope you like it and you give it a go. I've also tried it with peanut butter which is also nice, however almond butter is my favourite. Enjoy, insha'Allah!
Love and wasalaam,
Maryam
Assalamualykum Maryam!
ReplyDeleteWe will definitely give this recipe a try!
It looks so easy and delectable!
Could you please suggest a substitute for pure maple syrup?
love and sallams
Waalaikum assalaam!
DeleteI'm glad you like the recipe. You can use any sweetener really, I just find Maple syrup has a light taste, if you know what I mean, it's not too overpowering. Perhaps Agave syrup is similar in terms of lightness. But again, it should taste great with anything, insha'Allah.
Hope this helps, and thanks for your lovely words!

Maryam
