Crafty Muslimahs on Instagram!

Assalamu Alaikum!

We're on Instagram! Masha'Allah we are very happy to announce that we have made an Instagram account for our blog. We made it a couple of months ago but didn't want to announce it because we were not sure if we were going to be that active on it. Alhamdulillah we are happy enough with the progress we are making and hope to keep it up as another hobby, insha'Allah! Click here for the link.

That's all we wanted to say. Insha'Allah you are all having a lovely day and we will see you all on Friday, insha'Allah.

Ramadan - Week 2

Assalamu Alaikum!
Another week has gone by and we're back with our second Reward Calendar filler's post. Also, in case you were wondering, we wanted to explain how we are using the different coloured pockets. The pink ones are for presents, games and activities. The yellow ones mostly contain prompts that are meant to give you reward in the next life, insha'Allah. And the beige pockets are for sweets and edible treats. Here is what Sumayyah received this week.
Day 8 - A 'De-clutter & Donate' prompt card.
Day 9 - Lollipop.
Day 10 - Smiley face container.
Day 11 - 'Write a Ramadan Newsletter' prompt card.
Day 12 - Necklace.
Day 13 - Sweet.
Day 14 - A 'De-clutter & Donate' prompt card.
Ramadan is the perfect time to 'Spring Clean' the house, so you'll probably be seeing more of these 'De-clutter & Donate' cards! We hope that you are all well and that you are having a peaceful and productive Ramadan. See you in a week, insha'Allah.

Gardening Update: Tomato

Assalamu Alaykum everyone!
Maryam here! As many of you may know I started gardening for the first time last year in September. I've done a few posts since then on decorating my Gardening Journal, the different plants I'm growing and a post on the first potatoes I've ever grown!
This post is on my Tomato plants which started flowering at the end of December, last year. Masha'Allah, since then a single tomato formed and I took some photos of the transformation. Take a look!
Day 72 (since seed was planted)...
...day 85...
...day 119...
...day 131...
...day 132.
I picked the tomato that day and left it in a dark place for a couple of days, and it turned really red in colour masha'Allah!
We ate it on its own to taste the full flavour of the tomato, any spices or food would definitely have altered the taste.
Masha'Allah it was very yummy, and SubhanAllah, home-grown food always tastes better than shop-bought.

Well that's all for this mid-week post. See you all on Friday insha'Allah!

Love and wasalaam,

Maryam.
