The Best Oat Biscuits (Hobnobs) Recipe!

Assalamu Alaikum everyone!
This week we are going to be sharing with you this delicious hobnobs recipe. Out of all the oat biscuits we have made these are our absolute favourite. They are also very easy to make; so let's begin!

Ingredients (for 20 biscuits):-
140g butter (10 tbs)
140g sugar (¾ cup)
1 tbs milk
1 tsp golden syrup
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
140g self-raising flour (1 cup)
110g rolled oats (1⅓ cup)


In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.

Then beat in the milk, golden syrup and baking soda.
Stir in the flour and rolled oats and mix until combined.
Preheat your oven to 150 degrees Celsius, 300 degrees Fahrenheit, Gas Mark 2.

Line a couple of baking trays with baking sheets.

Shape into 20 equal sized balls; place 2 inches apart and flatten slightly.
Bake on a middle shelf for 25 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
Best served warm with a cup of tea! Store in an airtight container.
