Assalamu Alaikum!
It's Hanifah and today I'm going to show you how to make this pretty shaker notebook cover. So it's back to school for us, or rather back to home-schooling. I thought it would be fun to decorate this notebook and it only took me around 10-minutes to do.
For this craft you will need:-
a notebook
plastic jacket
double-sided tape
Stanley knife
scissors
ruler
pencil
sequins
First you will need to mark a border on the inside of the notebook cover. Mine was 1.5 cm thick.
Next, cut out the rectangle using the Stanley knife.
Don't worry; this beautiful patterned card won't go to waste! We will probably use it as a journaling card or something.
You can save yours too and use it to make a bookmark like the one pictured below. Click here to see how we made it.
Now you will need to cut the plastic jacket. It needs to be bigger than the cut-out piece of card.
You will need two plastic rectangles and you will need to attach them with the double-sided tape.
Attach a plastic sheet onto the inside of the cover.
Trim the excess and flip to the front cover. Place the sequins onto the plastic sheet and attach the second sheet over them.
Again, trim any excess and then your notebook cover is done!

We hope you recreate this craft and we will see you next Friday, insha'Allah.
Wassalam,
Hanifah
